Salman Khan Vs Shah Rukh Khan Vs Aamir Khan: The War of Khans

The Three Khans of  Bollywood has always created controversies in the industry. The three Khans can also be called as the controversy Kings. Recently Aamir Khan created news with the poster of his upcoming movie Peekay. Peekay is going to be a Hindi Satiric Film about Hindu Gods and their god men. The plot f the movie sounds different and interesting from the other movies we have seen so far. Aamir Khan will be playing the lead role in the movie. Other actors like Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Sanjay Dutt will also share the screen with Khan. It is reported that Vidhu Vinod Chopra had to take in backseat when it came to Peekay because he is busy with his upcoming movie Chithiyan and he doesn’t want to be involved with two movies at the same time. So Hirani and Vinod had an agreement that Hirani would take over Peekay and Vinod would look after the affairs of Chithiyan. Both the movies are planning to hit the screens by the end of this year itself.

Our industry has seen how the Khan’s have always chosen their choice of Producer and worked wonders with them. Salman Khan-Sooraj Barjatya, Shah Ruk Khan-Farah Khan and Aamir Khan and Raju Hirani. Movies like “Hum Aap ke Hai Kaun”, “Hum Sath Sath Hai” have made history when Salman and Sooraj came together. Shah Ruk was also not behind when it came to his movies with Farah Khan like Mai Hoo Na, Om Shanti Om all these movies were blockbusters including upcoming movie Happy New Year and how could Aamir not enter the “Successful Actor-Director League” so Aamir and Hirani together made their magic work and gave us a movie like we have never seen before, 3Idiots. 3Idiots broke many records on the box office and Hirani’s previous movies like the Munna Bhai Series don’t even need an introduction. We all know that they were the highest grossing movie of all times. And without a doubt Aamir is one of the finest actors the industry has today. So when to extremely talented people come together, what happens? Pure Magic happens we have witnessed it in 3idiots before and it’s a sure thing that Peekay will have the same impeccable story to offer us. “Oh My God” was one of the movie of the same genre of the recent times. We are surely looking forward for Peekay. The movie will hit your nearest theatres 19 December 2014. Salman Khan was also a part of the twitter controversy. Bollywood is like a battle ground where actors and actresses use their twitter, facebook and Instagram accounts to take a dig at other actors or let’s say rival actors. Recently Rajkundra husband of the smoking hot Shilpa Shetty went on record to say that he earns way more than Salman Khan during an interview. “I don’t see any fun in being like him. I can bet Salman doesn’t earn that much…well, at least nowhere near me,” had said Kundra. The tweet was later deleted.

As soon as the interview went public, Salman fans used the same medium twitter to slam Raj Kundra. The businessman in return posted a few tweets. One of them, taking a dig at Salman’s latest release Kick read, “To all haters….all I have to say is when u do charity u don’t need to talk about it. What I do when I do is none of your business. #kick” However he later deleted this post. Today morning he posted another tweet claiming that the interview has been tweaked. Manipulated or not this is not the first time Bollywood is witnessing such cold wars.

 

P.K. (Peekay) trailer is set to be released with Salman Khan’s Kick

Raju Hirani, who has only directed blockbusters like 3 idiots, Munnabhai MBBS, and its sequel, is directing Peekay. This upcoming bollywood movie is a satire on Godmen and Hindu Gods. This movie might stir controversy, as the subject is sensitive. It is said that Aamir Khan, who also co directing and producing this film along with Siddharth Roy Kapur, Raju Hirnai himself, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, under the banner Vinod Chopra Productions, plays the lead in this film.

This movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sushant Singh Rajput, Anuksha Sharma, and Boman Irani. Looks like Raju Hirani likes to repeat cast of his previous movies. Raju Hirani and Aamir Khan’s Jodi created an all time blockbuster, 3 idiots loosely based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel, Five Point Someone. In this movie, Aamir Khan dressed in a yellow lehenga and a grey blazer and white shirt, wearing a lipstick and carrying a tape recorder, is going to be seen asking questions on spirituality and god innocently yet carrying a deeper meaning.

Aamir Khan has chosen to release the first trailer of this film on the same day Salman Khan’s movie release, Kick. If this is intentional or strategic is not known. Aamir Khan and Salman Khan are known for their bromance as each have always shared their goodwill onscreen and off-screen. They have never shied away from promoting each other’s films. Salman Khan will probably promote Peekay movie along with Salman Khan Kick movie, given their deeper friendship.

This will be interesting as Kick movie is a remake with Salman Khan using an entirely different look for the film. Though this movie has generated the much-needed hype, for the songs, and the overall look of this film, it will be interesting to watch what iconic dialogues this movie will have. Peekay will be the much-awaited movie of this year. It is said to release during Christmas. It is said that Aamir Khan is superstitious about releasing his movies during Christmas as it brings him great success.

Peekay already landed in controversy when Aamir Khan donned the look of Lord Shiva and pulled a rickshaw carrying a woman wearing burqa. When they were shooting this scene in Delhi’s Chandini Chowk, they had to deal with legal issues. However, Raju Hirani denied all these rumours. This movie started its shooting schedule in Delhi as it is said that Raju Hirani wanted to shoot a few scenes in the cold weather of Delhi that seems ideal during the month of January. A few parts of the film are also shot in Belgium.

This movie is also called P.K, which are the two initials of the character of Aamir Khan in this movie. Anushka Sharma is seen in bobbed hair, unlike most of the glam roles in other movies. This movie can be anticipated to be a bigger blockbuster than any of the Salman Khan’s movies. Salman Khan is a people person and the common man enjoys his genre of films. Aamir Khan’s movies are more soulful.
