The title is changed from Shaukeen to The Shaukeens as Murad thinks it sounds more cooler and adds a certain zing to the movie. Akshay Kumar and Lisa Haydon starrer Shaukeen is all set to release on November 7. This movie is the remake of Basu Chatterjee’s 1982 ‘Shaukeen’ which is now directed by Abhishek Sharma. The film revolves around three lusty men and veteran actors like Anuphem Kher, Annu Kapoor and Paresh Rawal feature in this remake. The actors used social networking site twitter to share their happiness with their fans “Happy to announce the release date of #The Shaukeens. It is 7th Nov. Be ready for this fantasy ride. Jai Ho.:) @HaydonLisa @annukapoor_,” Anupam tweeted on Wednesday.
Lisa Haydon too expressed her excitement on Twitter and tweeted, “Got the most FANTASTIC phone call! #The Shaukeens releases 7thNovember. Can’t wait2share this film w/all of u cuz we had such fun making it!” Bollywood action star Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn’s have been rivals for a long time now.This time too these two stars are going to clash at the box office through their Action Jackson and Shaukeen. Apparently it is confirmed that the title Entertainment was a copyright of Amol Gupte, he was to name his upcoming movie “Entertainment”. But later Amol Gupte asked Shajid-Farad to go ahead with the title as a friendly gesture.
