In this film Kareena plays the role of a Maharashtrian girl who is lovable and often gives many dialogues in fluent Marathi. Ajay Devgn plays the lead role in this film. He plays the character of a fierce cop that fights against evil and works hard towards saving society. He gives full dedication to his profession of being a policeman and saving the citizens from evil deeds. Kareena Kapoor on the other hand is set to pay the role of his love interest in the film.

Although the shoot for this sequence lasted only for a short while, Kareena seemed to enjoy this experience. A lot of comparison has been made between ‘Singham Returns’ and the forthcoming film ‘Mardaani’. Rani disagrees with this as she says that ‘Singham Returns is a large scale film that targets a lot more audience, whereas Mardaani is a small scale film that targets a small section of society which focuses on the issue of female trafficking. It has been said that Singham Returns is supposed to be bigger and better than the original installment of Singham in terms of action sequences, performances and story. Ajay Devgn’s role as Bajirao Singham is set to be stronger with this sequel. Singham was a blockbuster and was loved by the audience. It will be interesting to watch whether this sequel does better than the original and out beats its previous box-office returns. Singham Returns releases in theaters on the 15th of August along with the nations celebrations of Independence Day.
